About the Author
Hi, I'm Savan Koradia, a Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Architect and hands-on engineer based in India, and the CEO & Founder of AakarDev Softwares.
I work with Salesforce B2C Commerce teams on architecture, engineering quality, technical debt, maintainability, integrations, and complex ecommerce engineering problems. Through AakarDev Softwares, I provide specialized SFCC engineering consulting and technical advisory services to merchants, agencies, system integrators, and ecommerce teams.
I created SFCC Tales to share practical, experience-driven knowledge from working with Salesforce Commerce Cloud in real production environments. The goal is to make the engineering side of SFCC easier to understand and help developers, architects, and technical leaders make better technical decisions.
SFCC Tales covers topics such as:
- SFCC architecture and engineering practices
- Cartridge architecture, implementation, and compatibility
- Third-party cartridge evaluation and engineering health
- Technical debt and codebase quality
- Business Manager configuration and platform behaviour
- Storefront architecture and URL management
- Performance, maintainability, and implementation risks
- Lessons learned from real-world SFCC projects
The Cartridge Intelligence initiative extends this work by independently reviewing publicly available third-party SFCC cartridges for engineering health, maintainability, compatibility, and implementation risk.
Everything published on SFCC Tales is based on hands-on engineering experience, independent analysis, and lessons from real implementations. The content is intended to help the SFCC community understand not just how something works, but also the engineering trade-offs and risks behind it.
SFCC Tales and AakarDev Softwares
SFCC Tales is the knowledge, research, and engineering intelligence platform.
AakarDev Softwares is the consultancy through which organizations can engage for professional SFCC engineering and technical advisory work.
The consultancy focuses on helping SFCC teams understand, improve, and de-risk their existing implementations — through architecture reviews, codebase and cartridge assessments, technical debt analysis, solution design, and specialized engineering guidance.
SFCC Tales and AakarDev Softwares are independent of Salesforce and are not affiliated with or endorsed by Salesforce.
